FA Cup hero Connor Hall joins Maidenhead United – Football in Berkshire
Maidenhead United have secured the services of Connor Hall from National League side Brackley Town after the Saints were relegated at the end of the season.
Hall is no stranger to Berkshire having begun his footballing journey with Binfield FC’s weekly soccer schools alongside his younger brother – England international Lewis – and went on to help their Lions team win two cup competitions before playing for Eldon Celtic and Ascot United’s Allied Counties League side.
Hall scored 18 goals in 45 games as Brackley won the National League North title in 2024/25, while last season his game time was restricted, scoring six times from 31 substitute appearances as the Saints were relegated.
Maidenhead manager Ryan Peters said his new signing was ‘chomping at the bit’ to get started and had ‘a point to prove’.

In an interview for the Maidenhead website, Peters said: “Connor is a proven goal scorer, especially at this level.
“[He is] a player that has a point to prove and is chomping at the bit to get started. If we can provide service, Connor will find the back of the net.”

Chorley’s FA Cup hero
After his youth spells in Berkshire, Hall’s football career took him north, joining and working through Sheffield United’s age groups. He played EFL League One football for Bolton Wanderers and Accrington Stanley, but it was a loan spell at Chorley during the 2020/21 season that he came to public attention.
He made national headlines after scoring the winning goal in the FA Cup Second Round win at Peterborough United, and his remarkable FA Cup form continued on in the Third Round when he scored in Chorley’s 2-0 win over Championship Derby County, who were then managed by former England captain Wayne Rooney.
‘Good to be home’
“It feels really good, I’m really excited. Delighted to actually sign here and hopefully play a part in a good season,” Hall said after his York Road unveiling.
“To be honest, I had a meeting with the gaffer a couple of weeks ago and it went really well. I really enjoyed it and I liked the way he spoke – him and Aaron. Just after speaking with them, I was like ‘right, if I get to do it, this is where I want to be.’” he added.
Maidenhead are due to travel to Hall’s former club Brackley Town for a pre-season friendly on 1st August. The Magpies also have games lined up against Wolverhampton Wanderers and Southampton.
PakarPBN
A Private Blog Network (PBN) is a collection of websites that are controlled by a single individual or organization and used primarily to build backlinks to a “money site” in order to influence its ranking in search engines such as Google. The core idea behind a PBN is based on the importance of backlinks in Google’s ranking algorithm. Since Google views backlinks as signals of authority and trust, some website owners attempt to artificially create these signals through a controlled network of sites.
In a typical PBN setup, the owner acquires expired or aged domains that already have existing authority, backlinks, and history. These domains are rebuilt with new content and hosted separately, often using different IP addresses, hosting providers, themes, and ownership details to make them appear unrelated. Within the content published on these sites, links are strategically placed that point to the main website the owner wants to rank higher. By doing this, the owner attempts to pass link equity (also known as “link juice”) from the PBN sites to the target website.
The purpose of a PBN is to give the impression that the target website is naturally earning links from multiple independent sources. If done effectively, this can temporarily improve keyword rankings, increase organic visibility, and drive more traffic from search results.
